Homepage Design Concepts for Review

Four distinct visual directions for the Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia's new digital home. All four share the same information architecture — agreed page structure, navigation and content blocks — so the choice is purely about visual identity. The selected direction becomes the master theme for the main portal and all 13 parish websites.

What Stays the Same in All Three

The structure below is identical across concepts and maps directly to the WordPress Multisite build agreed in the implementation plan.

Shared page structure

  • Header & navigation (locked network-wide)
  • Hero with Mass Timings + Find a Parish
  • Quick-access cards
  • Bishop's welcome
  • Official announcements
  • Mass schedule & upcoming events
  • 13-parish directory by country
  • News, newsletter sign-up, footer

How it becomes WordPress

  • Chosen palette & fonts → global theme tokens for all 14 sites
  • Mass timings, clergy, announcements, events → structured backend forms (no layout editing by volunteers)
  • Announcements / events / news → dedicated post types with simple entry screens
  • Header, footer & global styling → locked at network level
  • Each parish card → that parish's own sub-site

What we need from AVOSA

  • Preferred concept (or a combination, e.g. "Concept 2 layout with Concept 1 colors")
  • Official logo / crest files & any existing brand colors
  • Confirmation of the parish list & naming
  • Approved photography (or permission to arrange it)
  • Sign-off to proceed to the Master Template build
