Safeguarding Office for the protection of minors and vulnerable adults
The Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia, committed to creating a safe environment for all God’s children, instituted the Office of Care as an ecclesiastical office on 31 May 2020, functioning from 1 June 2020.

The Office puts in place the measures required to create a safe environment for all, particularly minors and vulnerable adults. It also receives and responds appropriately to reports of abuse of minors or vulnerable adults, and of sexual misconduct, committed by clergy, religious, and lay employees or volunteers in the Vicariate.

Raise a concern
Speak to the Office if you are worried about a child or vulnerable adult who may be at risk.
Safe environment
Policies, measures and training that keep parishes, schools and activities safe for all.
Care for those affected
Listening, support and accompaniment through the Victim Care Minister.
