Bishop Paul Hinder, OFM Cap.

A Swiss-born Capuchin Franciscan, Bishop Paul Hinder served the Church in the Arabian Peninsula for nearly two decades — as Apostolic Vicar of Arabia from 2005 to 2011, and then of Southern Arabia until 2022. His years of ministry included the historic visit of Pope Francis to the United Arab Emirates in 2019.
